Your privacy is the point.

The Hideaway 559 is a private, invite-only club for adults 21 and over. Discretion isn't a feature here — it's the foundation. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the lengths we go to keep it private.

What we collect

• Your application. Name, age, a discreet email, and your answers to our vetting questions (whether you drink, smoke, or are 420-friendly; your reason for joining, who referred you, how you found us, and what you're hoping for). Optionally a Kasidie profile link and a recent, date-verified photo.
• Your membership. The handle you choose (the only name other members ever see), your profile type (single / couple), and your visibility preferences.
• Your activity in the app. Which events you commit to, your entry-fee payment confirmations (method + the note you add), messages you send to the host or fellow guests, and door check-ins. If you enable notifications, a device token so we can alert you.

How we use it

• To vet applicants and decide membership.
• To run events — RSVPs, the single-male ratio, entry, and your private QR pass + address (released only after you commit).
• To enable messaging with the host and with guests you're attending alongside.
• To communicate with you about your application, approval, and upcoming nights.

Who can see what

Your real identity stays with the host only. Other members see your handle and the few preferences you choose to show — never your name, email, photo, or application. In anything shown publicly, member faces are blurred or protected.

How we protect it

• Your real-identity details live in a host-only area, separate from anything other members can reach.
• The app blocks screenshots and screen recording on Android, and watermarks sensitive screens, so the calendar, photos, and your pass can't be casually shared.
• Data is encrypted in transit and protected by strict per-account access rules.
• We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it outside the club.

Third parties

We use Supabase to host the database and authentication. When you pay an entry fee, you send it directly through Zelle or Cash App — those apps have their own privacy terms, and we only see the confirmation you report. If you open directions to an event, your device passes the address to Apple Maps or Google Maps. We don't sell data to anyone.

Keeping & deleting your data

We keep your information while you're a member and as needed to run the club. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — contact the host. Note that if an application is denied or a member is removed for cause, we retain the minimum needed to prevent re-application.

Your choices

You control your visibility preferences in the app, you can cancel attendance, and you can ask the host to close your account. Notifications are opt-in.

Adults only

The Hideaway 559 is strictly for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

We may update this policy as the club grows; we'll change the date above when we do.
